Meet the Newsomes
We're Ashton, Alana, and our son (Aiden)—and together, we're the family behind Newsome Signature Spaces.
Ashton is a Jacksonville native with deep roots in the First Coast and a lifelong love for boating and the outdoors. With over 15 years in the luxury outdoor construction world —including growing a successful design-build company that was then sold in October of 2024—he brings a wealth of knowledge, hands-on experience, and a passion for helping clients create stunning, functional spaces they’ll enjoy for years to come. He is excited to see how he can now continue to carry on his family’s legacy of creating exceptional outdoor living spaces, as he and his wife start this new venture.
Alana shares that same creative spirit and drive. With a background steeped in design, crafting and a family legacy of military service, she has a natural eye for detail and a genuine love for helping people bring their vision to life. She was also an integral part in co-building the same outdoor living company alongside Ashton and supporting thousands of clients across the region in recent years.
Our son keeps us grounded (and active!) with his love for fishing, bike rides, running wild, and building the world one LEGO brick at a time.
As a family, we love traveling to new places, spending time on the water, and unwinding at our own little slice of paradise—our waterfront home in Northeast Jacksonville that we’ve been lovingly building piece by piece.
We believe outdoor spaces should be more than beautiful—they should feel like home. And we’re honored to help others design spaces where life’s best memories can unfold.
